Russia has terminated a pact that was to secure the balance of military power in Europe. By faithfully adhering to the CFE (Conventional Armed Forces in Europe) treaty as it is presently framed Russia has been playing the NATO’s hand. Western ‘partners’ kept surreptitiously building up their forces, while creeping closer to Russia’s borders and lying their way. The time has come to end the oddity, from now on everyone is playing for himself, and Russia’s hand is to prevail.
