KIEV, April 5. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said on Sunday he can name those behind corruption schemes.

"I will name them at the parliament. You will know," Yatsenyuk told the 1+1 television channel, adding that all cabinet member, including himself, were ready to give testimony on all issues, including accusations voiced by the head of the State Financial Inspection, Nikolai Gordiyenko.

"Yesterday /on Saturday/, an investigation in respect of the executives of the State Financial Inspection was over. The figure of 7.5 billion hryvnias has nothing to do with any of the officials of the current cabinet and the prime minister," he said. In his words, he would demand the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ukrainian Security Service investigate corruption cases against the former heads of the State Financial Inspection.

"The government has embarked on an unprecedented struggle agsint corruption," he said. "I have received an official letter from the Prosecutor General’s Office. I will refer all materials there. If they want to see me, I will go there."

Nikolay Gordienko earlier publicly accused the Yatsenyuk government of corruption. He said inspectors had exposed episodes of corruption actions incurring a damage to the state worth more than 7.58 billion hryvnias. On April 4, Yatsenyuk ruled to dismiss Gordiyenko and stage a probe. Gordiyenko, in turn, requested the Prosecutor General’s Office to investigate into possible corruption actions.
