ANTALYA (Sputnik) – Ukraine will host a NATO-led exercise on disaster response this fall, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Wednesday.
“Ukraine will host a NATO-led exercise on disaster response this autumn,” he said.
The foreign ministers of NATO member states met in the Mediterranean coastal city in southwest Turkey to address new challenges and enhance collective security. Relations with Russia and Ukraine, as well as the military alliance's presence in Afghanistan were also topics of discussion in Antalya.
The meeting is being held outside Brussels for the first time in recent years.
