KIEV, May 28. /TASS/. Kiev will not hold a dialogue with the current leaders of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko told the 8th Kiev security forum on Thursday.

"We will hold a dialogue with Donbas, but with the other Donbas, a Ukrainian one," Poroshenko said stressing: "We must ensure fair elections."

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced a similar stance at the forum saying his government would never talk to the current Donbas representatives.

"We will communicate only with the legitimate representatives of this region, we want to hold legitimate elections there," the prime minister said, adding that he was ready to talk to the DPR and LPR leaders "only when they are behind bars."

"By the way, we have got enough empty prison cells," he stressed.

Under the Minsk agreements, on the first day after the heavy weaponry pullout a "dialogue is to start on modalities of conducting local elections in accordance with the Ukrainian legislation and the Law of Ukraine "On temporary order of local self-governance in particular districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions," and also about the future of these districts based on the above mentioned law."
