KIEV, July 22. /TASS/. Deputies allied to Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko said on Wednesday it was impossible to implement a program of reforms envisaged by the coalition agreement and proposed that the document should be revised.

Yuriy Lutsenko, the leader of the president’s Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction in the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament, told a news conference after a parliamentary session: "We do not implement the coalition agreement. It was written with too much optimism."

"It is not even technologically possible for parliament to pass such a large number of laws, as stipulated in the coalition agreement," Lutsenko said, adding that lawmakers would "have to revise the agreement".

The coalition in the Verkhovna Rada, formed after last October’s parliamentary election, comprises five factions - the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, the People’s Front, led by the current prime minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the Self-Help faction, led by Mayor of Lviv Andrey Sadovyi, the Radical Party, led by Oleh Lyashko, and the Fatherland, led by the former prime minister, Yulia Tymoshenko. More than 300 of its lawmakers ensured the majority in the 450-seat parliament.
