KIEV, July 28. /TASS/. Russian nationals Alexander Alexandrov and Yevgeny Yerofeyev captured by the Ukrainian military in the Luhansk Region in east Ukraine in May will go on trial in September, Adviser to the Ukrainian Security Service Head Yuri Tandit said on Tuesday.

"The trial is planned for September," he said.

The Russians are being kept "in proper conditions," the adviser said.

Ukraine’s Security Service posted on its Twitter account on Tuesday Yerofeyev’s and Alexandrov’s photos allegedly taken "right now." The photos picture the two Russians in the premises looking like a hospital ward. One of the photos, according to the caption, pictures the Security Service chief’s adviser speaking with Yerofeyev.

Alexandrov and Yerofeyev were detained near the settlement of Schastye near Luhansk on May 16, 2015. The Ukrainian authorities claimed the two men were allegedly Russian servicemen. Two days later, the Russian Defense Ministry denied this fact, saying these men had not been on military service at the moment of detention.

On May 22, 2015, Kiev’s district court placed the two Russians under arrest. On June 10, Kiev’s Court of Appeals ruled to keep them under arrest.
