A small town Avdeyevka, 11 km away from Donetsk city and the site of the 2nd largest plant in Europe, has been hit with MLRS "Grad" from the new position of the Ukrainian army. Eyewitnesses and residents of the town clearly say that the shells were flying from Orlovka, a village recently seized by the Ukrainian army.

Presently after the shelling, 5 civilians have been reported dead and more than 50 injured by shrapnel. According to the residents, it started suddenly, without any warning. As the result of such random and uncompromising shelling, every resident of this town couldn’t help finding pieces of shells in their dwellings.

A few apartments on the 6th and 7th floors of a hostel, Molodezhnaya Str. 20, have been destroyed. One of the shells almost destroyed the building: window glass has been smashed in almost the entire building. Warehouses and a playground near the building are completely destroyed. A gas pipeline was hit, too. At the moment, thick smoke is hanging all over the place.

Currently, there’s a great panic among residents!

Here are a few gifts from the Ukrainian Armed Forces that people found in their backyard:
