Up to forty Ukrainian soldiers have come to checkpoint of Izvarino in Rostov region. The servicemen asked Russia for asylum, they claimed that they don't want to be treated like cannon fodder any longer. The Ukrainians don't want to speak in front of the camera as they are afraid for lives of their relatives. They agreed to speak to Lifenews correspondent only if he let them not to tell their names and uncover their faces. As LifeNews reported on July 26-th, up to forty soldiers from Ukrainian Military Forces have come to checkpoint of Izvarino. According to Vasiliy Malaev, a head of Rostov region border agency press center of Federal Security Service, they have left their positions as they were unwilling to participate in the warfare and asked the militants to help them cross the border. Earlier, on July 16-th, at least 10 wounded frontier guards of the Ukrainian army asked their Russian colleagues for help. Before that two badly wounded Ukrainian servicemen were delivered to hospitals of Kuybyshevsky district of Rostov region. Russian doctors which have arrived to the checkpoint claimed that the soldiers should be taken to a hospital. The servicemen were taken to hospitals in border towns of Zverev and Gukovo
